The Open Source Glass Cockpit Project

OpenGC displays glass cockpit gauges in a networked flight simulation environment, similar to other popular glass cockpit packages.

A few other things to keep in mind:

1. You will need to download the latest version of the X-Plane nav database available from Robin Peel.
2. For best performance you should use a graphics accelerator with decent OpenGL support. The majority of modern NVidia and ATI cards should work fine, but you might get poor performance using card older than 3-4 years.
3. For best performance, run OpenGC in a networked environment. Although it's possible to run it on the same computer as your sim, your computer will have much more work to do and both programs will suffer decreased performance.
